Pupil Premium Statement 2016-2017
 

 
Pupil Premium is an allocation of additional funding provided to schools to support specific groups of children who are vulnerable to possible underachievement.  These include pupils who are entitled to free school meals at any point in the last 6 years, those children looked after by the local authority and the children of armed service personnel.
 
St Joseph’s Pupil Premium Grant 2016-2017
 
At St Joseph’s we provide inclusive education to all of our children and have allocated funding to the following areas:-
 

 

  • The following allocations have been based on the latest FSM Ever 6 data from the October 2015 Census
  • The pupil premium rates for 2016-2017 are Primary FSM pupils £1320.00, Secondary FSM pupls £935.00, Post LAC £1900.00 and Service Children £300.00.
  • A total of £25080.00 has been included in the budget based on 19 pupils entitled to free schools meals.
  • This amount has been included on our website to ensure accountability

 

This funding has been allocated to the following areas:-
 

  • £1600.00 on intervention work by Teaching Assistants
  • £3080.00 on an attendance officer
  • £6000.00 on subscriptions to Read, Write, inc and Lexia

 
Additionally, we utilise our budget and devolve money depending on needs of the school.
